Essential Questions:  Can we control the pace (speed) at which technology is being created?  Should we try to control the speed technology is being created, if it is even possible to?

Enduring Understandings:  Technology evolves at an ever accelerating pace based on the needs/wants of society and is influenced by cultural, political, and environmental values and constraints.  Technology products and systems now impact every aspect of the world in which we live.
